Built from only the finest grade A teak, sourced from sustainable plantations.

The teak elements of this product are available beautifully sanded and left in its natural form, or oiled with premium grade teak oil.

No other wood shares teak’s exceptional strength and durability. Its unique texture and leathery smell are due to its high oil content. These characteristics, combined with the woods high density, prevent warping and rot and allow teak furniture to stay outdoors in all conditions, without maintenance or preservatives.

Teak is a natural product and, because of this, fluctuations of temperature and humidity may cause surface cracking and in particular the end grains. This is normal and will not affect the durability or strength of the wood.
Left outdoors, untreated teak will adjust to the elements over the years and the colour of the wood will change to an attractive silver grey, aided only by an occasional washing with warm soapy water in order to discourage moss.

Because our items are manufactured from highest quality A-Grade teak they do not require oiling (unless you wish to do so for cosmetic reasons), and will weather to an attractive silver grey colour if left untreated by oils and stains.

The choice to oil or to leave your teak in its natural finish is a personal choice and does not affect the quality of your teak (although Oiled Teak does require more regular maintenance.)

This immensely durable and stable timber has a high oil and rubber content, an ‘in-built’ natural water repellent which makes it virtually immune to rotting.

Only the finest quality genuine A-Grade plantation teak (Tectona Grandis) is selected for use in our products and then combined with solid brass castings for durable, attractive garden and conservatory furniture. Our furniture is constructed in the time-honoured fashion of tight fitting mortise and tenon joints with teak dowels. This ensures robust, wobble-free furniture that looks great and stands the test of time.

This Teak furniture weathers beautifully, season after season, and can be left untreated outside without the risk of rotting. We use genuine plantation grown 100% kiln dried solid A-Grade Teak wood from Indonesia that is of the highest quality available in the world. Avoid lesser quality woods that have not been kiln dried to avoid warping and splitting.

This garden furniture range is Imported directly from the manufacturer in Java, Indonesia and made only with 100% genuine A-Grade plantation grown kiln dried solid teak, as sold by the top high street retailers. All items are sourced exclusively from the sustainable Perum Perhutani plantations managed by the Indonesian government.

Thanks to its durability, teak wood is by far the first choice when it comes to garden furniture. Quality teak furniture can be left untreated in all conditions, all year round, without the risk of rotting or other damage and will last many years.

The high quality of our teak is evident in the colour and texture of the wood. Do not confuse our furniture with the lower quality examples sometimes found. Cheap, low quality teak wood is easy to identify, primarily by the dull finish and the presence of both very dark and light wood on the same piece of furniture.

Treatment with teak oil is completely optional. It is a common misconception that oil prolongs the life of teak wood. It is purely a cosmetic choice. If you wish to preserve the original colour and texture of your furniture you can apply oil. Alternatively, you may wish to allow the teak to weather naturally and develop the much sought-after ’silvered’ effect which adorns weathered teak. The choice is yours.
